Panorama Winter Trail Map & Terrain Guide
Panorama Mountain is legendary for its massive vertical drop and diverse terrain that caters to every level of skier and rider. With 2,975 acres of patrolled terrain and one of the largest vertical drops in North America at 1,300 metres (4,265 feet), the mountain offers an expansive playground almost entirely below the tree line. This unique topography provides incredible gladed runs and sheltered skiing even on stormy days.
Explore the Terrain
Panorama’s layout is like a giant funnel, with all trails eventually leading back to the intimate pedestrian village.
The Discovery Zone: Located at the base, this area is perfect for beginners and families, featuring gentle slopes and the Discovery Quad.
Intermediate Cruisers: The Mile 1 Express and Champagne Express chairs access miles of wide, meticulously groomed runs perfect for those who love to carve.
Extreme Dream Zone: For those seeking tight trees and steep pitches, this zone offers some of the most challenging double-black diamond glades on the mountain.
Taynton Bowl: This former heli-skiing area is a 750-acre "backcountry-style" bowl. It’s a paradise for experts looking for deep powder, open bowls, and long chutes.
