With over 50 years of experience, RK Heliski is one of the highest-elevation heli-operations in North America. Their vast 1,500 square kilometer tenure in the Purcell Mountains features majestic alpine bowls, long chutes, and perfectly spaced glades in the famous Jumbo Valley.

2025/2026 Season Packages

All packages include a hot gourmet breakfast, a deluxe picnic lunch in the mountains, après-ski snacks, and a souvenir heli-pin.

  • 3-Run Powder Adventure: Perfect for those looking to get a taste of the backcountry.

    • Price: Starting at $1,225/person.

  • 5-Run Powder Adventure: For the adventurer looking for more vertical and more deep powder turns.

    • Price: Starting at $1,425/person.

  • Extra Runs: If your legs are still feeling strong after your scheduled runs, extra runs can often be added for $125/run (weather and group minimums permitting).

What’s Included?

  • Gear: High-performance powder skis or snowboards specifically designed for deep snow.

  • Safety: Use of a guest pack containing an avalanche probe, shovel, and radio, as well as a modern digital avalanche transceiver.

  • Guidance: Every group is led by highly trained, ACMG-certified guides.

Location & Access

  • Heli-Plex: The RK Heliski base is located at the Panorama Resort village, making it incredibly convenient for guests staying on-mountain.

  • Pro Tip for Lone Wolf Chalet Guests: Since the Heli-Plex is right in the village, you can enjoy a coffee at the chalet, take the short 2-minute drive down, and be ready for your safety briefing without any long travel times.

Important 2026 Dates:

  • 2025/26 Season: Operating from December 20, 2025 – April 6, 2026.

  • 2026/27 Season: General booking for the next season typically opens in November.
